IPSL is only as strong as the collaborations we build and the partnerships we make. We invite you to become involved and help promote intercultural understanding and service.

IPSL fills a particular niche that traditional study abroad program providers do not, that appeals to  practical, service-minded students who are interested in experiential, hands-on education. We are  the only study abroad organization that joins the "knowing" with the "doing". We have also been a leader in the field of international education, and the pioneers in international service-learning, for nearly thirty years.

Our very existence is predicated on community partnerships that provide opportunities to engage with the world's problems, thereby promoting "shared responsibility, ethical intelligence and [most certainly] a countermeasure to the forces and conditions that feed on intolerance, closed mindedness, violence and corruption." IPSL students are, in fact, the antidote to such forces, and in learning to respond to the needs of others from different cultures, they return to our own communities with a commitment to serve.
