The New Web-Based Database by and for the Study Abroad Field

In keeping with risk management best-practices, every international programs office needs a cost-effective, reliable, easy-to-use database to track important student, partner, and program data. Online student applications, financial aid and billing functionality, emergency contact information, a searchable program database, email-blast and bulk-mailing capability, GopherU has all of this, and more.

The International Partnership for Service-Learning™ and Leadership (IPSL) launched in January 2010 a web-based data management system designed for and by study abroad people. Our study abroad database is called “GopherU” and is a Social Enterprise developed in collaboration with Portland State University and The International Partnership for Service Learning (IPSL).

Non-profit-based Social Enterprise means that surplus funds generated from the licensing of GopherU stay in the study abroad community in the form of scholarship opportunities for students...including, potentially, your students!
