In most IPSL programs, students live with a local host family. An integral part of the program, the homestay offers students the opportunity to make life-long friends, reinforce language skills, and experience the culture from the inside.
In England, the Philippines, Scotland, and Thailand, students live in university residence halls with local and international students.
In all cases, students are living with and getting to know people of the host culture; they are not housed as a group with other Americans.
