"My service-learning experience was exceptionally rewarding. My classes and my work at the service agency related very well to each other. I am forever grateful to my professor who made me value different opinions. I found the experience extremely important and relevant to my life and life in general, and often find myself reflecting back on class sessions and service work I did."
-Tammy, St. Paul's College
London is one of the most popular destinations for study abroad, with its dynamic youth culture, vast cultural offerings, rich history, and proximity to Europe. With large populations of immigrants from all over the world, today's London is a truly international city. Service-learning in London offers students a unique opportunity not just to see London culture, but become immersed in it through volunteer service and study of British social issues. Students can enjoy all of the cultural benefits of the world's most cosmopolitan city, but may also learn firsthand about the advantages and problems of a nationalized health and social service system, and/or immigrant, refugee, and social justice issues.
