Customized Service-Learning Programs in Glasgow, Scotland

Study Abroad integrated with Volunteer Service Volunter in Scotland, Volunteer Service Combined with Academic Study

Deeper, More Meaningful Study Abroad

Though part of the United Kingdom, Scotland is a distinct nation with its own culture and history. In parts of the Highlands and Islands one can still hear the language of Gaelic in everyday use. Since 1999, Scotland has had its own Parliament, which has allowed new forms of governance to emerge. Through academic studies and direct experience serving in Glasgow, participants will be immersed in Scottish culture and society while learning about contemporary social issues. Both cosmopolitan and distinctly Scottish in character, Glasgow is one of Europe's great cultural centers. It is also the gateway to some of Scotland's most beautiful scenery, including the Western Isles and the Highlands.

Customized programs in Scotland may be arranged for the fall semester only.

PLEASE NOTE: Customized programs are arranged for groups only, and are coordinated with college and university faculty and administrators and other group leaders, not with individual students. If you are an individual student, please see our core undergraduate programs.
