Travel and Excursions that Broaden Your Perspective

Through scheduled field trips, you will explore many of the cultural and architectural treasures of Prague and nearby areas. At least two field trips per semester are organized to visit selected places outside of Prague. They may include visits to rural areas, regional museums, castles, open-air museums, spa cities, historical sites, and/or current arts events.

Recent examples:

Southern Bohemia: This excursion includes visits to well-known places of interest connected with the Czech history, art and architecture, such as Český Krumlov, Tábor, České Budějovice.
North Bohemia / Terezin: Students learn about the tragedy of Czech Jewish people who were persecuted during World War II.
Western Bohemia: Students become acquainted with Czech spa cities with rich cultural tradition, such as Mariánské Lázně, Karlovy Vary, and Teplá.
