"My Sustainable Development class is awesome. I love it. I'm doing a project on the psychology of resettlement of hill tribe communities. Because Thailand is in the process of turning all its remaining forests into national parks, a lot of the hill tribe communities who have lived in the areas for generations are getting kicked out. It's pretty complicated... most of the people who live in these hill tribes have no citizenship, so they basically have no rights to anything, like health care, property ownership, access to education, etc. My project is going to be about the different circumstances that lead the different parties to behave the way they do."
