IPSL at College of Mount Saint Vincent offers a one-week NGO survey and Spanish-language program in beautiful Cartagena, Colombia. This program takes place during Spring Break, which in 2017 is scheduled for 11 - 19 MARCH 2017. We apologize in advance if these dates do not coordinate with your institution's Spring Break.

What will you study?

Participants on the Cartagena, Colombia program take Spanish courses (according to your level after an intake assessment is delivered on-site) at Centro Catalina, a beautiful institute in the historic center of Cartagena. In addition to Spanish, participants get to visit NGOs in the community and partake in presentations and workshops that provide a fuller picture of everyday life in Cartagena. Past participants have learned about at-risk youth, environmental concerns around water, and other topics from leaders and practitioners in NGOs and other nonprofit organizations.

Of course, no trip to Cartagena would be complete without excursions in the historic center and to nearby beaches!
