IPSL offers Ecuador programs in three locations, each with a different Spanish language prerequisite:
Guayaquil
Some Spanish required.
Develop your Spanish skills by living, serving, and studying in this vibrant port city, which is also a gateway to the Galapagos. Courses are taught in Spanish and/or English.
Quito
Intermediate Spanish required.
Master the Spanish language, volunteer, and learn about Ecuadorian culture and society in this temperate Andean mountain city. All courses are taught in Spanish.
Galapagos Islands
Some Spanish recommended.
Experience and learn about the natural diversity of this world-renowned ecological treasure, as well as the impact of human industries and conservation efforts. Choose either a Biology focus or a Social Science focus. All courses are taught in English.
